Viagra

What is Viagra?

What is interesting drug – when there is sexual arousal then an erection occurs. That is, Viagra is designed to increase blood supply in the penis to achieve and support erection. If a man took the drug, and his sexual organ did not become alert, then he did not have sexual arousal. Excitement occurs through direct contact with a woman of interest to a man: caresses, hugs, kisses, inhalation of pheromones, etc. Then, under the influence of Viagra, an erection appears, which the same drug supports and keeps throughout intercourse. After the end of sexual intercourse, the arousal subsides, and the drug ceases to act again.

Since sexual arousal depends on the level of testosterone, the drug is less effective for people with low levels of the male sex hormone. The drug has a weak effect on men with certain diseases, for example, diseases of the inner lining of blood vessels (endothelium). If the endothelium produces little substance, which is a mediator of erection, then Viagra also acts poorly. This is observed in patients with diabetes, in patients with metabolic syndrome.

How to take Viagra?

Viagra is prescribed to men who are already 18 years old and who suffer from erectile dysfunction – for some reason they cannot have sex because of the unreadiness of the penis. But in general, the active substance works to alleviate the symptoms of pulmonary hypertension, but for these cases it is released in a different form.

Most patients are prescribed a dose of 50 mg. Take it should be an hour before the alleged sex. It’s not very convenient, but there is plenty of time for foreplay and erotic conversations. But everyone reacts to the drug in its own way: 25 mg is enough for someone, and someone needs to increase the dose to 100 mg. For elderly patients and those who have diseases of the cardiovascular system it is recommended to start all the same with a small dose of Viagra in 25 mg.

It is better not to take more than one pill a day and you should not drink Viagra with the grapefruit juice. But you can take the drug for a long time, if you do not worry about side effects.

Viagra and Alcohol Interaction

It depends on how much. A glass of wine or a glass of beer is not likely to change the effect of Viagra. But an excess of alcohol can negate the entire possible effect to increase potency.

Does the drug have side effects?

Of course. In men suffering from cardiovascular diseases, the risk of heart attack or stroke increases when taking the drug. Viagra has a vasodilating effect, and sex is a cardio load, so patients with diseases should discuss the issue with their doctor, no matter how embarrassed you are.
